It's all about the bike !

Well not always. The local culture has to be enjoyed as well and some of that is on the beach and in the water. The sand (well in this case stones) were occupied by golden tanned bodies covered in lots of cases by only scraps of clothing - or in some case not hardly at all

But wait - its ll about the bike and bike shop spending. A bit of that was done this morning while the  wheel was getting fixed and then after swapped our car for one with roof rails and then lunch and then cycling.

A short ride   -  35kms / 564meters of climbing and touching 70kms hr back down the decent into Nice  (average speed for the day 23km/hr


Tomorrow we start  here is what we are looking forward to.

Nice  -> Col de Turini 65kms  Vertical gain 2561meters

Col de Braus (973m - 1002m)           distance 10km, vertical 662m
Col de l’Able (1000m  1149m)        distance 6km, vertical 190m
Col de Turini (1607m)            distance 11km, vertical 900m


Col de Braus is never too steep, but it’s a beautiful climb with nice contoured hairpins. Nearing the top is a little road that turns up and left and is a “long-cut to Col de Turini via Col de l’Able. (D54)
